All About Everything Wickle

We are family-run, family-friendly, selling beautiful unusual things for the home and the family.

We started in London in 2004 making our own natural perfumes and toiletries but after relocating to the town of Lewes, happily cradled within the Sussex Downs, we branched out into shop keeping.

When we opened our first Wickle in 2006 we had visions of clean white spaces to best showcase the colourful eclectic things we had gathered up on our adventures. We soon realised that was never going to be possible - there were simply too many things. And then month on month there were more and more exciting and unexpected things as the word spread and we met more and more interesting creative and crafty people from around the globe all willing to share their creations.

Whilst we do go for the unusual or forgotten classic, there isn't a particular style or type of item we sell, we just offer whatever tickles our wickle. Our shops have been described as Aladdin's caves and a treat for the eyes. What you see on our website can only ever be a small selection of our everchanging stock so why not visit us in Lewes and experience it all for yourselves? And after that, how about relaxing with a cup of our Wickle-blend teas served in vintage fine bone china, with a slice of Battenberg, whilst the kids entertain themselves at the playtable?
